September is here, which means we're officially entering my favorite time of year. September is basically my pre-game for October. So here's a weekly bucket list filled with activities to get you into the autumn mood!

1. Journal About Your September Goals

It's the start of a new month; give yourself 20 minutes to journal about what you hope to accomplish this month. Think of this as your September reset. It could be a new job, learning a new recipe, or finishing every Scooby-Doo movie ever! Write down five goals you want to happen this month. Now what's stopping you from making that goal a reality?

2. Declutter And Transition Your Wardrobe

We still have some hot weather on the way, but before we know it, the season will soon begin to change. Transition your summer wardrobe to your fall wardrobe. Time to make room in your closet for stockings, an oversized leather jacket, and boots! Extra diva points if you digitize your wardrobe. Makes it easier to plan outfits.

3. Pick A Fall/Halloween Themed Book For The Month

I recommend getting a free library card so you can read as much as you want. But for this month, just one book. We all should be reading more, even if it's Sookie Stackhouse novels. "Club Dead" is the book I chose for September. I've seen all of True Blood. Now time for me to compare it to the novels.

4. Make A Cozy Fall Treat This Week

I love making baked apples with brown sugar oats filling in the oven. The house smells so good, and I for sure know I'm not going to ruin it. A few more ideas I find to be easy to make!

• Hot chocolate
• cinnamon rolls
• pumpkin spice frappe
• microwave brownie

5. Fall Tv/Movie Night Ideas

I usually watch fall shows or movies year-round, but I don't know why it feels different when you watch them in September: Gossip Girl, Gilmore Girls, Supernatural, even Twin Peaks. These shows have just the right amount of dialogue and saturation to make me happy! While you're doing your decluttering, a show in the background is the perfect mood.

Gossip Girl is one show I always go back to. The iconic Thanksgiving episode and the fashion! I always felt like I related most to Jenny's style! Blair is a close second for me.

6. Have a Candlelight Dinner

I recommend a Coraline-themed dinner; I would love a mango smoothie right now. I had one last Halloween, and it was so fun. Also, why was the movie so scary when we were younger?

7. Get a new hair color based on fall colors!

I recently went back to burgundy! That counts, right? If dyeing your hair is too extreme, try a new hairstyle!

8. Decorate Your Room

Light a candle and rearrange your room. New posters, lights, and fall pumpkins!

9. Paint your nails in fall colors!

Mani pedi me, please!

10. Buy Candy Corn

I don't care what anyone says, candy corn is good when you don't have a hater in your ear telling you otherwise! And I will be making a trail mix!

It's one of those nights: you don't know what to wear, You're already running late, and it's no longer free to get into the club after 11. The only smart option is the Bandage Dress you've been hiding in the back of your closet. Every girl needs one for nights like this. Designed by Azzedine Alaïa. It became popular among models. Further developed by Hervé Léger. He introduced his own version in the 90s. The body-hugging silhouette has evolved into more club attire. The rise of celebrity culture has definitely shaped this.

No matter who you are, the dress 100% looks good on everybody. It's versatile for so many events. It's an instant outfit: date night, clubbing, birthday party, or red carpet. I've even seen women wear it to their college graduations. Definitely doing the same for mine. Wherever you choose to wear this bodycon piece, your outfit will be remembered. I know you're probably like, "But isn't it trendy?" That's not necessarily a bad thing! This silhouette dress has been around since the 80s. It's being introduced to a new generation, but it isn't new. So yes, the bandage dress is trendy again. But honestly? Who cares?

 You don't have to break the bank to buy one. You can find them online on eBay, Depop, The RealReal, and other secondhand websites. I've seen some priced at $50 or less. House of CB has entered the game. To be honest, though, I don't know if the price is worth it. Whatever budget you're working with, you can find one. I have a trip to New York in a couple of weeks. So I've been doing some shopping on ThredUp. I purchased two of my very own bandage dresses. One is a tan, creamy color, and the other is basic black. I can't wait to update you guys when I get some pictures in them. They aren't Hervé Léger, but I got them both for less than $20.

So yes, I think every girl needs a bandage dress in her closet. And considering I now own two, I guess I'm practicing what I preach. Now I just need somewhere in New York to wear them.

Wassup guys, a few updates! I recently got invited to be a contributor to someone else's blog! So I'll be sharing the link for that soon. Really exciting to blog with someone else for a change! Also added a new tab called "shop". If you don't know, I work in fashion. I have a clothing line called "Detroit Dinero" but I haven't launched my new collection yet. While waiting for that, I'll be adding a few fun tees and other items under the diva punk umbrella. I plan on doing some DIY T-shirt upcycling with them. Of course, I'm going to share them here. I'm on my way to work and wanted to update my readers! Thanks for all the love.
